1. Purpose and scope
This Policy sets mandatory standards to protect users, advertisers, publishers, and Adbuho from unsafe content and invalid traffic (IVT). It applies to all use of the Platform, including web, in‑app, SDK, extensions, push, pop, interstitial and native formats. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning in the Terms of Service.
2. Definitions (key)
Invalid Traffic (IVT): any impression/click/conversion not resulting from genuine human interest, including but not limited to bots, crawlers, data‑center traffic, hijacked sessions, hidden/stacked ads, auto‑refresh beyond limits, incentivized or forced actions not disclosed, click farms, malware, adware, or spoofed environments.
Malvertising: creatives, tags or scripts that deliver malware, cryptojacking, forced extensions, deceptive notifications, or unauthorized redirects.
User‑initiated: an ad or popup that opens only after a clear, intentional user action (e.g., click/tap) on a labeled control.
Incentivized traffic: users are promised value for ad engagement (money, points, gifts). Allowed only when pre‑declared, labeled to advertisers, and approved by Adbuho.
Attribution event: a measurable action (install, signup, sale) used for CPA/CPI/CPL campaigns and subject to validation.
3. Prohibited content and activities
You must not directly or indirectly:
Distribute malware, spyware, adware, cryptominers, drive‑by downloads, forced extension/app installs, or exploit kits.
Mislead or deceive (e.g., fake close buttons, “system alerts,” imitation of OS/browser dialogs, cloaking).
Engage in IP infringement, counterfeit goods, piracy, unlawful streaming, or unauthorized use of trademarks/copyright.
Promote illegal drugs, weapons, hacking services, doxxing, identity theft, or instructions facilitating crime.
Feature sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), bestiality, or prostitution/escort services.
Incite violence, terrorism, or hate against protected classes; or distribute graphic violence.
Promote misleading health/financial claims (miracle cures, get‑rich‑quick), payday loans where restricted, or unlicensed gambling.
Collect or process sensitive personal data without a valid legal basis and prominent notice/consent where required.
Circumvent platform review (obfuscation, fast‑swap of landing content, post‑approval pivots).
Use forced clicks, auto‑redirects, back‑button hijacking, tab‑under/auto‑open without user intent, or JavaScript that disables navigation.
4. Traffic quality & sourcing requirements
No traffic from botnets, DC proxies/VPN farms, residential proxy spoofing, or traffic brokers that mix undisclosed sources.
Incentivized, toolbar, doorway, arbitrage or domain‑parked traffic is allowed only if pre‑declared, separated, and approved by Adbuho; otherwise prohibited.
Pop/Popunder: must be user‑initiated; maximum 1 (one) pop per user action; frequency capping recommended ≤2 per hour per user; no chains/loops.
Auto‑refresh display: minimum interval 30 seconds, no refresh when ad slot is out of view or tab not active; video auto‑refresh is prohibited.
Viewability: follow MRC guidance (display ≥50% pixels for ≥1s; video ≥50% for ≥2s, first quartile audible disclosure if sound auto‑plays). Where local law or partner rules are stricter, those prevail.
Ads must never obscure core content or key UI; interstitials require a visible, functional close control.
5. Implementation & tagging standards
Do not alter Adbuho tags, macros, or tracking links; implement exactly as provided.
No hidden iframes/zero‑pixel placements, stacking, or off‑screen rendering.
Lazy‑load respectfully; do not trigger impressions until slot is reasonably in view.
Limit ads per page to reasonable density; avoid layout shifts (CLS) and excessive CPU/network usage.
Mobile: avoid sticky overlays that block interaction; comply with Better Ads Standards.
Push/notifications: require explicit browser OS permission (double opt‑in where applicable) and easy unsubscribe.
6. Creatives & landing pages
Creatives must pass malware scans and policy review; no auto‑download or drive‑by behavior.
Prohibit fake UI (e.g., “You have a virus!”) and deceptive claims.
Landings must match the approved offer, load over HTTPS, disclose pricing/fees, and provide visible contact and legal pages (Privacy/Terms/Returns as applicable).
For finance/health, require substantiation and applicable licenses; for gambling/alcohol, enable geo‑age gating and display jurisdictional disclaimers.
App/extension installs: disclose permissions and source store; no sideloading without explicit disclosure and platform compliance.
7. Data & privacy safeguards
No collection of PII via Platform tags unless explicitly approved and legally justified.
No device/browser fingerprinting beyond permitted purposes; comply with consent/opt‑out frameworks (TCF/GPP, GPC).
Respect “Do Not Track/Do Not Sell or Share” where applicable; transmit signals faithfully.
Use hashed emails only with valid consent and adequate notice.
8. Measurement, attribution & validation (CPA/CPI/CPL)
All conversions are subject to fraud screening, duplicate and time‑to‑event validation.
We may require postbacks, S2S tracking, install receipts, purchase logs, or on‑device signals to validate.
Incentivized conversions must be labeled and priced accordingly; mixing incent/non‑incent in the same campaign is prohibited.
Click spamming, click injection, spoofed referrers, fake SDK signals, emulator/device farms, and incent washing are strictly prohibited.
Unless otherwise stated, Adbuho reserves up to 180 days post‑event for audits, clawbacks and adjustments based on advertiser evidence or anti‑fraud findings.
9. Transparency & supply chain
Publishers must maintain accurate ads.txt/app‑ads.txt entries for Adbuho accounts and update upon request.
Where supported, we may publish sellers.json/supply chain identifiers; you must provide truthful business, domain/app bundle information.
10. Investigations, audits & cooperation
You must cooperate with investigations by providing timely logs (server/app), placement screenshots, traffic source details, and access to relevant data.
Adbuho may use third‑party scanners and verification tools; detected threats must be remediated within 24 hours.
We may suspend delivery or payments while an investigation is ongoing.
11. Enforcement & remedies
Invalidation & adjustments: We may invalidate impressions/clicks/conversions and adjust earnings/spend.
Withholding: We may withhold payments pending resolution or to offset advertiser chargebacks and refunds.
Suspension/termination: For severe or repeated breaches, we may suspend tags or terminate accounts.
Clawbacks: We may reclaim prior payouts tied to fraudulent or invalid activity.
Blacklist: Repeat offenders may be blacklisted and reported to industry programs or partners where appropriate.
12. Disputes & appeal process
You may dispute a decision by emailing [email protected] with subject “Fraud/Quality Dispute” and supporting evidence within 10 days of notification.
We aim to respond within 15 business days with findings or required additional data.
Absent sufficient evidence, Adbuho’s measurements and determinations prevail.
13. Category & geography restrictions
We restrict or ban categories based on law or partner requirements (e.g., CSAM, illegal drugs/weapons, deep‑fake political content, unlicensed gambling, payday loans in restricted states, medical claims without proof).
You must comply with export controls and sanctions (e.g., OFAC) and block delivery where prohibited by law.
14. Minors & age‑gating
The Platform is not directed to under‑18 users. Age‑restricted ads require robust age gates and jurisdictional compliance.
15. Changes
We may update this Policy as needed. Material changes will be communicated via the site/console/email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
