1. Who we are and scope
This notice explains how MarketCat LLC (d/b/a “Adbuho”) processes personal data in relation to: (i) our websites and consoles (the “Sites”), (ii) our advertising platform, tags, SDKs and pixels integrated into client sites/apps (the “Platform”), and (iii) support, billing and communications. It applies to Visitors, End Users who interact with ads or tags, Publishers (supply/partners), and Advertisers (advertisers/agencies).
2. Identity protection principles
We minimize collection and apply pseudonymization to identifiers (cookie ID, Ad ID, IP truncated/hashed where feasible).
We avoid collecting sensitive categories unless legally or contractually required and properly consented.
We operate controls to prevent re-identification and bind providers to confidentiality and security obligations.
3. Data we process
A. Users/Visitors (pseudonymous data):
Online identifiers (cookies/SDK IDs, IDFA/GAID, IP address and user agent; where feasible, truncated IP or approximate geolocation—city/country).
Events: pages/areas viewed, timestamps, referrer URLs, ad interactions, conversions, anti-fraud events, performance/diagnostics.
Consent/privacy signals (IAB TCF/GPP, GPC), ad preferences.
Hashed emails if a publisher/advertiser enables matching with valid consent.
B. Publishers and Advertisers (account data):
Identity and contact details (name, company, email, phone), credentials, billing/payments (including tax forms such as W‑9/W‑8BEN), KYC/AML verification where applicable, support communications, and contractual metadata.
Creatives, domains/apps, performance metrics and settlements.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Service delivery & Platform operation (contract performance; legitimate interests).
Measurement, analytics & anti-fraud/security (legitimate interests; legal obligations where relevant).
Interest-based advertising (prior consent where required; otherwise legitimate interests with opt-out).
Billing & payments (contract/legal obligation).
Customer support/communications (legitimate interests; contract).
Legal compliance and defense of claims.
5. Interest-based ads and user controls
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where technically feasible.
We offer opt-outs for interest-based advertising via: (i) the publisher’s CMP controls; (ii) industry pages (DAA/NAI/EDAA); and (iii) device settings (iOS/Android—Limit tracking/Reset Advertising ID).
For California residents, we provide “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” and “Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information” links where applicable.
6. Cookies, SDKs and similar technologies
We use cookies/SDKs/pixels for: (i) essential operations; (ii) preferences; (ii) measurement/analytics; and (iv) marketing. Technical details and retention are described in our Cookie Policy. We do not set non-essential cookies before consent in jurisdictions that require it.
7. International transfers
We may transfer data to providers or data centers outside your country. We rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/EEA, adequacy decisions, intra-group agreements) and conduct transfer-risk assessments as needed.
8. Retention
Advertising IDs/cookies: typically 12–24 months (or less per law/CMP settings).
Security/anti-fraud logs: up to 24 months, unless ongoing investigations require more.
Billing/contract records: per accounting/tax law (often 7 years).
Upon expiry, we securely delete or anonymize data.
9. Security
We apply encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, monitoring, periodic testing, logical segregation, and continuous vendor evaluations. We maintain incident response and legally compliant breach notification processes.
10. Privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, port, object/withdraw consent, and restrict processing. You may also object to the “sale or sharing” of personal information (CPRA). To exercise rights, contact [email protected] and state your country/state; we may request reasonable verification.
11. Children
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe we have, contact us to delete it.
